Girls nite out

Last evening, i met up with Sofi and her little beauty, SyaSya as the guys had their annual dinner aka boys nite out. Since we didn't want to be left bored at home, Sofi suggested we have our own girls nite out as well like every other year. The rest of the girls had to work late, Aznani backed out at the last min as her baby boy was unwell. That left me and Sofi only. We decided to go to town and let SyaSya soak in the atmosphere of a Friday nite in the city.

Fresh & ready to go...

Behave yrslf, hunny & hv fun

It has been a tradition for my hubby & his circle of good frens where they will set aside a date every single year for an annual dinner for the whole group with wives, gfs and children included. They too have another date set for only boys nite out. That makes the wives 'husbandless' and the gfs 'singles' for that particular nite. N so, we always unofficially have our own nite out to counter the boredom.

Fetched Sofi & SyaSya at Haig Rd and drove to town. Sofi, u'd better pass ur TP soon as i'm sooo sick & tired of driving. I wanna be driven around instead. You know wat u hv to do once u pass ya girl?

We had loads of fun walking around town. Yes, we shopped.Like finally, i felt hapi and contented with wat i had bought. We walked so much that our little feet were at our mercy. Miss SyaSya 'bullied' her mummy into getting her alot of pink hair accessories and pink 'jewellery' and she got away with it scot free. Just u wait u little girl, when u grow up u gotta buy ur mummy & mummy Sya some real jewellery alrite?

Do u wanna be as vain as mummy Sya?

Dun grow up too soon, sweetie pie

Gosh, her mummy spent a bomb on her accessories alone. Look at the pic above, she was wearing her top off shoulder thanx to mummy. Are you encouraging her mummy? Luckily, she is such a gem...she never fail to make me feel happy.

One we were done with shopping, our little darling said, "Mummy, i want to eat!" Since all major restaurants and food outlets were closed, we settled on Swensens @ Crown Prince as that is the only restaurant open for 24 hours. Am i rite? Gosh, the queue was a killer. Never had i imagined myself to join that queue but last nite i did. Usually, if at a particular restaurant of choice is packed, we'll just skip and go elsewhere. This time around, waiting wasn't that bad at all. We chatted along with the little one and laughed away.

the long queue

she stopped at any eye-catching spot to pose
so did we..bt too bad the background can't be seen
Sofi & Sya
Like SyaSya says, ' 3 pretty ladies'
we were famished

Eventually after a long wait, we got our seats. In less than 5 mins, we knew what we wanted to eat. Sofi was on an all vegetarian diet. C'mon girl, you'r not that bad. Just a little exercise will do the trick. So lets work out together. Whilst waiting for our food, this was what we did...

Did u hv fun, darlings?

can we shop again sumday?

can i just run away with u?

u trying to show off ur pretty pinkies??

U noe, this little girl can sing almost any song - Malay, Indonesian & English songs alike, with clarity that is. She sings so coherently that my hubby should be ashamed of himself as he can never remember lyrics of songs. U can simply fall in love with her voice as she sings any song with so much passion and clarity, u can clearly hear word for word. I had always been so amazed by her. She is one bright child to begin with. N so, she sang me a couple of songs upon her mummy's request and she did it at her best, all need to say.
