Time Is Up
This time round, i thoroughly enjoyed myself throughout the long weekend as it was well spent with my lovelies. Today was no exception. Yet again, i met up with Ida & Kak Lin. That makes it a hat trick 'scoring' three meet-ups with Ida in one weekend. Kewl rite?
Today, for almost half a day, i was handicapped as dear mum unintentionally brought my handphone to the stall without even realising that she mistook my phone for dad's. I searched frantically for the mobile to no avail. I almost cried as apparently it is the only gadget im totally dependant on. As i was 'mourning' the dissapearance of my mobile, a sudden thought struck me. I remembered that i had made prior plans to go for the JL Expo sale with the two babes mentioned above. But without my mobile, how am i gonna finalise the pending date? Come what may, the date has to be realised as i was already itching to shop. I squeezed my memory hard hoping to remember either Ida's or Kak Lin's no. No doubt, it's Ida's no that appeared first. The rest as they say is history.
Kak Lin fetched Ida and then myself. Off we go to the sale. I never fail to be dissapointed by JL's myriad of products. Strangely, i keep coming back time and time again. All i would buy would be the underwear. They do have some cheap, cute ones though.
As i was browsing through the same, old repetitive items on sale, i was almost immediately hit by the villain, namely the flu bug. I felt sick so abruptly. After that little non-enthusiastic of a shopping spree, we had lunch at BK.
This was all i had for lunch, thanx to the flu and sore throat
Us again...
After a nice chatting session, we decided to go back to my place since my mum had cooked nasi lemak. The kids wanted to go for a swim again but they didn't bring any swimwear. So i tried digging up my wardrobe in search for any shrunken or small sized swimming costume. Had no luck. N so, i let the kids wear mine instead ; a gymnastic tights i used to wear for my gymnastic classes in sec school & my bright blue bikini top with my boxers i usually wear to sleep. If was in fact a hilarious situation as my costumes were way too big for them. We rectified the issue by tying up the loose ends with rubber bands. N they were ready to jump into the pool.

While the kiddos were swimming, i booked the Billard Room for a game of pool. We had a few rounds of game and at 7pm, we headed back to my unit. My maid prepared dinner and we had a nice scrumptious one even much better with the free satay mum brought back from the stall. My lil sis's frens were there too. They had went for a swim and sauna. They claimed they enjoyed themselves. I am glad they did. Come back ya, girls.Im more than delighted to have u guys over.
While chatting with my babes over dinner, mum joined us after her prayers and she soon took part in the conversation we were having and we were laughing away on how slapstick she could be. After an engaging long chat, the girls took their leave as Sofia had fallen asleep on her bibik's lap. Must be tired after the swim. Poor darling.
Tomorrow shall be indoors for me as i need to start on my lesson planning and lotsa markings to be done before the start of a new week. I hope the flu bug will hasten away and leave me alone. I am feeling the shivers already.
On a totally different note, i badly miss the husband. There's nothing much i can do but wait. My patience is running thin.Pls help.
