Don't Look Back
We were looking for a new camera. So we went out to scout for one and to do abit of shopping too.The husband was looking for a new pair of boots. We travelled to Marina. Spent good 4 hrs there strolling from Marina to Millenia Walk to Suntec and back to Marina. Once we reached Marina, we felt the tummy kicking. Settled for House of Sundanese Food since we've never tried that before. Well, not to my liking though. Didn't quite make our tongues dance. I have tasted better.
We left the restaurant refuelled, full but dissatisfied. We walked hand in hand to Millenia Walk to check out the prices at Harvey Norman. We have singled out what and which digicam we wanted. We're quite bent on getting it.
He is intrigued by the massage chair as much as i am intrigued by...
the XBOX 360
Off to Suntec, and i bought a pair of shoe and a skirt. Simply love them both.
Would u hv guessed this is a shoe box?
I love my shoes...
Went back to Marina. Whilst at a store checking out a very much anticipated getaway, hubby had a call from his colleague. He had an urgent drawing to do. The shopping trip was cut short and rushed back to his office. He did his drawings while i explored his workspace and surfed the net.
his workspace
i found this and...
this gracefully beautifying the workstation...hehehe...
u look like an intern, hunny
Faizal, hubby's fren texted and asked if we would like to meet up. At an instance, i knew where i wanted to go. I msged his wife, Sofi and asked if we could watch a movie together. Needless to say, i was asking for the impossible. I had suggested Jangan Pandang Belakang. My boy said NO. After much persuasion he was kindof giving the green light by giving me the silence. So both wives made plans. Perhaps after much thought, the husband said he changed his mind and wanna watch dvd at home instead. Ok, i surrendered.I wouldn't wanna push him against his will any further. So we suggested supper at East Coast.
While waiting for the couple to arrive, we took a stroll by the beach holding hands, yakking, hugging and laughing away reliving our courting days. We took some romantic shots of us but we found something was lurking behind our backs. Spooky!
some romantic moments...
without realising, the 'apparitions' hounded us, robbing us of our moment..spooky huh?hehehe...
So the golden couple arrived after a long wait. We had our drinks and we(read: Faizal, Sofi & i) tried cajoling, convincing, persuading and begging(only i did) the husband to watch the movie. Convinced, my lovely husband relented. N we had like less than half an hr to finish our drinks and rush back to Balestier. But we did so in the nick of time. at East coast with some cajoling session
Managed to grab those tix. We missed the first 10 mins though. But managed to watch the bulk of it. Hmm...yes the effects were scary and many shocking moments but it ended abruptly. Wished it could be longer and more precise. That wasn't the scariest i've watched. But worth watching lah...the grandma was the highlight of the movie. She's so cute but kinda eerie looking.
After the movie,we went to Bendemeer for supper. By then, i was yawning away. Had a quick one before bidding gdbye. Had a lovely day despite many stopovers.
thank u for knocking some sense into my hubby
see love, not that frightening afterall rite?
he gave me that disgusted look
Reached home at 3am. Cleaned up and off to dreamland for us both. Such a long, tiring day.
