Leaving On A Good Note...
Phew...
I'm glad it's all over.
I'm glad it's all over.
The observation, the hassle of marking books and the endless administrative works.
For the next 3 years, at least.
N yeay, i'm having a little party with my little ones tomorrow. They are pretty sad i'm leaving. It's ok darlings. Who knows, I might see you again in secondary school.
The word has spread like rapid fire. Many have come forward with well wishes and some are surprised i'm leaving and had to find this out on my very last week. Some have expressed their sadness personally, especially those i've worked closely with for the last 2 years. They are upset that i will no longer be teaching their class. I have created a certain bond with quite a handful. One was honest enough to tell me that she is really feeling upset with my decision to leave as i am the one she looks forward to see everyday without fail. I guess we share alot together, our sentiments, our frustrations on the same students and the same wavelength we both are on. I have also been receiving countless of farewell cards from my colleagues. Their sweet gesture will always be remembered.

I was in for a surprise when i found a card in my pigeon hole from an ex-collegue who used to be a contract teacher in my school but is currently now a teacher-in-training at NIE. I'm not too sure if she knew i'm leaving, but the card really touched my heart.
Thank you Nur Annisa Zolkipli! Yes we will meet up if time permits, Insyallah.
I miss you too, girl.
On another note, i have been feeling nauseous and sickly the whole day today. Now i know why when the doctor says " stay home, sleep & rest", we ought to adhere. A special thanx to my colleague, Qomariah who assisted me in bringing my kids around during the Sports Activity Day. That really helped me else i would have collapsed.
One more day to go...
