the PURSUIT of HAPPYNESS

I watched an excellently inspiring movie 2 nights ago. I was all teary eyed in between the movie. I recommend you guys out there to catch this movie - The Pursuit of HappYness(intentionally spelt wrongly). Inspired by a true story, Chris Gardner is a bright and talented, but marginally employed salesman. Struggling to make ends meet, his wife left him for a better life. Gardner soon finds himself and his 5 year old son evicted from their San Francisco apartment with nowhere to go. When Gardner lands an internship at a prestigious stock brokerage firm, he and his son endure many harships, including being homeless and living in shelters, in pursuit of his dream of a better life for the two of them. It is heart wrenching how for his son, one man overcame the odds to reach for the impossible.

I give this movie 2 thumbs up. One of the best films i've watched by far. It is about a father's love that is so great beyond compare. I learnt that He that can have patience can have what He will as patience is the greatest of all virtues. So people, pursue yr dreams no matter what the odds may be.
