My Mind's Made Up

At the end of the day, both hunny & i are quite certain on what and which apartment we are bent on getting. We had our eyes set on the final 2 apartments after a whole day house-hunting and quite a sum of ringgits flew off the pocket for the tolls.

The husband is bent on getting a duplex(maisonette) in a serene, private area & i, a 3 bedroom apartment with a spread of shops and offices on the lower floors located in the metropolitan city of Damansara. A tough choice indeed. We were torn between the goodness of both.

I appreciate serenity but i do not want to be living in a big home and a duplex to boot especially when the husband still has to travel extensively leaving me behind to fend for myself in a foreign land. And my mind was running crazy & wild when i saw the apartment. It reminded me of the movie, Jangan Pandang Belakang. N so, i tried to make the husband see my point of view & my concern. Why do we even need a big home in the first place when there's only 2 of us? N if he's out of town, i will be living alone in fear. I can't always depend on my friends to keep me company as they have their commitments too. Being the reasonable husband that he is, he understood my concern and gave me the power to decide.

My choice would be the 3 bedroom condo. As i've mentioned earlier, below the apartments, there are shopping areas & offices and it is also within walking distance to Ikea, Ikano, Tesco, The Curve & Damansara Cineleisure which is a great place to hang out at. At the very least, the apartment will be buzzing with life even at night. I won't feel so lonesome then.

thank u love, for leaving the decision to me

Well, it was a tiring day. Meeting one agent after another. Driving from a place to the other.
By evening, we decided hunting should recess.

Had dinner @ Sakae Sushi.

Following dinner, we shopped at the malls for a bit before calling it a day.

Oh yes, not forgetting another dozen of doughnuts. Hunny & i are kinda hooked on Big Apple Donuts. It's really tasty. We first had it in Batam last weekend and little did we know KL has a franchise too.

It's soft and sweet. For those who prefer more flour in their doughnuts, stick to Dunkin.

Big Apple, i'm loving it!

Hunny insisted i wear the hat. Macam m'am...yikes! I don't make the cut!

Excited to accesorize the new home, we walked over to Ikea. We had some ideas on how the interior should be. It must be simplistic yet arresting.

Shortlisted the things we needed. No easy task! Ended the nite out with the signature hotdog from Ikea albeit feeling full.

Goodnite everyone...
