Upon his return, the husband asked me out on another date.

But this time it was different.

It took me by surprise.

He had asked me out on a soccer date.

So cute, i must say!

I had fun, honestly.

So we made our way to Shah Alam Stadium to see Alam Shah(pun intended).

It was The Sultan of Selangor's Cup that the Lions had to fight for.

And they did us proud!!!

Both sets of games.

Both the young ones and the veterans.

My virgin visit to the stadium

In true blue Singapore spirit, we were there to support the Lions of course.

I was a little apprehensive when i didn't catch sight of any Spore cars.

But when we set foot at the stadium itself, i was awe-struck.

The Lions weren't lacking in the support department.

Singapore supporters were ready to bite!

At that moment, i was so damn proud to be a Singaporean.

The feeling was indescribable.

We sat with the rest of the Spore supporters cheering for our local boys and the veterans.

It was all worth it - the journey, the jam, the tickets, the effort.
