A Chronicle of Events

I surprised the family with my return on the first day of Ramadan.
Mum cooked her famous lauk lodeh and lontong.
It was no doubt finger-licking good.
A good way to welcome me home, mama.
Thank you so much.

my share...

The day after, 2nd day of Ramadan, i decided to let off some steam in the kitchen.

Whipped up a totally new dish. A dish i've never tried cooking before.

Mutton Chop.

the mutton

the garnishing

the wedges

Verdict by the husband = 2 thumbs up

Success!!!

Day 3 of Ramadan, i whipped up yet another dish.

Lontong Goreng.

some salad

and fruits to complete the meal for a well balanced diet

N so after dinner, we skipped terawih for a day.

Hunny brought me to East Coast for some fresh air and a sweet treat.

i love late nights with that special someone

Done with the little treat, we took a stroll by the beach while the evening breeze serenaded us with its melody under the moonlight.

We had a real good time catching up.

One thing for sure, i simply love the beach.

As i had wanted to see the bright lights lining the streets of Geylang Serai, hunny brought me for a lil spin.

I had a beautiful night.

Now, can someone go to Geylang with me as the husband hates the idea of having to weave through the human crowd?

At the mention of Geylang, he shrugs his shoulders.

To me, my Ramadan is incomplete unless there is a visit to Geylang at least once throughout the fasting month to just bask in the atmosphere.

So, any takers???
