Farewell

Yesterday, it was finally farewell to my previous maid who made her return to her homeland for her marriage that will take place on the 3rd of Nov.
It was a tearful farewell at the airport last evening.

She has been with us for a good 6 years.

She was like our own.

My mum loved her just like any of her daughters.

She is special.

my ex maid, Fitri

she will be missed...

she cooks as good as mum

When she first came, she had zero experience in housework.

Not to mention cooking.

Zilch.

Now, after many years of training & experience, she is well sought after by many.

So hopefully after marriage, she will make a comeback to Spore and work with us again.

Goodbye my sister! Hope to see you again.

Sorry that all of us here can't be there for your wedding.

For the absence of our presence, you will always be in our thoughts and prayers.

Insyallah, a bundle of joy by next year, ya?

Ok, so last nite the husband was craving for something Japanese.

So he brought me to the newly opened Ramen Ten @ Century Sq.

Sad to say, it is not open to public just as yet.

So the husband was dissapointed.

Luckily, you're not pregnant, love.

We then settled for Bali Thai.

Bumped into his old mates who studied in UK together.

We chatted over dinner.

A funny couple, i must say.

They reminisced the past & rekindled some memories.

Luckily, i've been to where they studied and i know his friends so don't quite feel left out.

Hey, you're not the only one from UM (University of Manchester), hunny!

I'm in UM (University Malaya) too, remember?
