Racing Against Time

So many things to do...so little time!

It is a race against time!

Do u people share the same sentiment?

Raya is 4 days away and i've yet to spring clean the home, collect my tailored garments, changed

the bedsheets, buy new heels and bag and the list goes on...

What with the fever, flu, cough & sore throat that has been bugging me for the past 1 week.

My fever fluctuated and it really bothers me.

And dearest mum has to spook me of a bird flu scare.

She insisted i visit the nearest clinic for a thorough checkup.

Well, i hate clinics, hospitals, doctors, medicine and the likes of it to begin with.

So when she had to scare me with a possible bird flu threat, i finally got my lazy ass out of the

house to the nearest clinic.

It's funny how the doctor laughed at me when i mentioned, "Doctor, i am suffering from similar

symptoms as bird flu. My mum told me there is a case of bird flu quite recently. Do u think i

might..."

He laughed at me.

Perhaps he thought i'm trying to outsmart him or plainly acting smart.

Heh...

He wondered where my mum might have heard it from cos there are no such cases in Spore

currently.

Spore is free from bird flu.

Pandai2 aje!!!

He assured me that after a gd rest and a complete course of antibiotic, i will be as good as new.

When i questioned mum on how reliable her source is, she said that she heard it on the radio

some time ago(definitely not recently)and it was a case somewhere in Indonesia.

Phew...

So smart mummy tried to scare me so that i will go n visit the doctor after much procrastination.

I have to thank her though.

I'm feeling much better today after my medication and ample sleep.

So i will start my raya preparation by collecting my curtains which is ready for collection today.

Oh raya spirit, where are you?

Y can't i feel u just as yet?

I need u to get me working doubly hard.

The clock is ticking.

The countdown begins...
