Not as bad as it seem...
Some people have been asking me,
What do i do during my weekends in KL?
In all honesty, I hardly venture the heart of town cos of the bad traffic conditions.
More often than not, i only spend my weekends within the vicinity or anywhere else but town.
Some of my friends have this weird idea that weekends in KL are all about walking aimlessly at
KLCC, the Bukit Bintang area, Petaling Street, Chow Kit or even Masjid India.
I mean there are more to it, really.
There are so many places to venture apart from the already common ones.
There are many malls outside of town which many Sporeans have not ventured.
And each week, the husband & i will try a new menu coz over here we are totally spoilt for
choice.
And not to mention, almost all are halal.
Those i don't get to eat in Spore, i will hunt it down over here.
For instance, i have been craving the eat the huge burger from Carl's Junior but never had the chance to in Spore.
So when we chanced upon Carl's Junior at One Utama, there were no second thoughts.
Ok, that's just one example.
Another thing, apart from roaming the malls, it is a must to visit the street market at The Curve
which happens only during weekends.
It is something i do without fail each week.
I have this thing for street markets which i can't resist.
Cute, trendy stuffs with great bargains.
That's where i get my fancy earrings to add to my crazy collection.
Anyways, it is within a stone's throw away from my apartment.
No fuss.
So i hope i have dispelled some of the misconceptions on life over here.
I reckon it is true afterall.
As much as i hate to admit it, i HAVE gained weight!!!
:(
Is there a need to be alarmed?
