A French Affair

Last weekend the husband & i spent on some French delicacies from Carrefour. It reminded me of the time when we were in Paris, we indulged in a myriad of guilt-free desserts every single day. Simply pleasurable and yummy! I even intended to buy some and bring it back to Singapore.

My hubby thought i was going nuts.
He said, "Isn't there Carrefour in Singapore? Anyway, it's a long flight. Don't add weight to that already heavy bag of yours."

I never thought of that. Yeah true enuff, i found the Creme Caramel & Creme Brule which i had intensely lusted for. But dissapointingly, not all of those i saw in Paris were on the shelves. But i made do with what Singapore actually brings in. Beggers can't be choosers rite? Better than nothing.

So last weekend, we were feeling French.

I simply can't say no to these, creme caramel & chocolate pudding

it's not French enuff w/o the baguette & croissants

While rummaging thru the fridge, i found something i bought in Paris for momento sake. It is a fermented cheese recommended by my cousin's hubby. He eats it EVERY SINGLE DAY with his baguette. I took up his challenge and bought one for myself. Once in Singapore, it was totally out of my mind until last weekend.

Camembert Cheese

Dear husband, we have yet to eat this yucky tasting, awkward smelling Camembert Cheese.

Will you please get the ball rolling?
