Home is Where I Belong

The day was spent in the hotel room alone , reading a good book. I no longer crave for a shopping spree coz it has become too routine and dull. Hunny surprised me by appearing at the doorstep to ask me out for lunch.

Lunch was @ Little Penang Cafe. Had my all time fave, assam laksa while the husband ate hokkien mee penang style and rojak penang.

Such a short date we had, a brief one hour and he's gotta rush back to the office. Anyhow, i really appreciate the effort, hunny.

Sigh...I really, badly, desperately miss my mum & dad. I wish i could just run back home. Even hearing their voices on the line everyday won't suffice. This is how bad i miss my family each time i am away. How am i gonna survive my 3 years here? Wishing the days would just fly by so that Friday would come and i can pack & return to Spore.

In the evening, hunny & i went hunting for furniture as we'll be getting the keys to our apartment next Wed. I had shorlisted the stuffs we need based on priority and to suit the budget.

The last stop was Ikea. Needless to say, we had dinner there. The husband got to eat the much sought after meatballs and i, the poached salmon.

So tomorrow is yet another day. I reckon i'd kill time by going to the bank to open up a new acc and ensuing that, perhaps a trip to the salon to get my hair fixed.

Perhaps...perhaps...perhaps...coz i might just choose to stay in again!
