Here In Bintulu

Today is my 4th day here in Bintulu.

Reached last Fri.

After staying a nite in Bintulu, we drove up to Miri and stayed for a nite.

Well, Sarawak is not a place i'd love to call home.
I don't think i can ever survive here.

To me, it is Land of Boredom.

Thank goodness, its just a 9 days stay.

However, it is a learning experience and an eye opener altogether.

Learning another culture & language.

Interesting, their way of living.

We did have interesting & unforgettable moments.

Here are some pics for eye candy.

Upon arrival in Bintulu, Sarawak, we were greeted by the husband.

He drove us around their very small town which can be toured in barely less than 10mins .

Hunny drove us to the border of Sarawak & Brunei to get these must have salted fish.

Sarawak is famous for its salted dried fish.

Definitely, mum & aunty bought alot for souvenirs as well as for themselves.

We then had seafood for dinner by the beach.

It was too delicious that i hd forgotten to capture any pics of the food.

Done with dinner, we strolled by the beach.

Next morning, we hd buffet breakfast before heading bk to Bintulu.

Once we reached Bintulu, we went to the market for some marketing.

I found fat maggots being sold as food.

Yikes!!!

Dinner at nite at a nearby eatery.

Today, we went to the beach for a morning walk.

It was refreshing.

When i was at the mall doing some shopping, i saw a lil baby girl of the Khadazan tribe who is like the cutest thing i've ever seen.

Her name is Fatin.

Heard from my husband that the Khadazan is a particular tribe where its people are fair and good looking. They look pan asian. So that little Fatin was a really cute, pretty, adorable litle girl. I requested to carry her & tk a pic with her.

Oh, her mum said she loves taking pictures.

Such sweet thing.

That really made my day.

No less.

Looking forward to tomorrow.

What will we be up to, i wonder?
